Financing
The Biggest Hurdle these days is financing.
A good credit score is important as is showing consistent income. No longer is "stated income" acceptable. Plan on having at least 10% down plus closing cost ( Unless you go RD loan).
If you don't have a lending institute you want to work with, we can help match you up with a local bank or mortgage broker.
Things you'll need to have. when you visit with a loan officer:
- 2 Years Taxes
- fill out application with existing credit card debt
Things to do.
- Pay down credit cards ( no more than 20% of creditline)
- Resolve any problems with Credit Bureaus
Things NOT to do.
- Purchase large items on credit
- Buy a new car
- Don't buy recreational vehicle
- Don't buy furniture
- Don't Open new credit cards
- Don't Close existing credit card accounts
